Roberto Green, Jr.

My name is Roberto Green Jr. I was born and raised in Boston, but Puerto Rico has always been part of who I am. My father is from Barranquitas. My mother was born in Guatemala and raised in Santurce. My upbringing was shaped by Puerto Rican family, culture, sacrifice, faith, and the belief that hard work could create a different future.

I became a father at 20 years old. From that point forward, many of my decisions were driven by the responsibility of creating a better life for my children. The journey was not easy. I faced uncertainty, setbacks, long nights, financial pressure, and the challenge of building a future without having every answer or opportunity handed to me.

I began my professional career in finance, working with major institutions including State Street Bank and J.P. Morgan. Although I was helping manage and protect other people's money, I eventually realized that I needed to build ownership and freedom for my own family.

In 2018, I left corporate America and became a full-time entrepreneur. I owned and operated restaurant businesses at Harvard University and MIT before expanding deeper into real estate investing, property development, short-term rentals, private lending, and education.

Eventually, I made the difficult decision to leave Boston and build a new life in Puerto Rico. Although that required sacrifice and meant being farther from family and friends, returning to my roots gave me a renewed sense of purpose.

Today, I invest, develop properties, manage short-term rentals, and teach others how to invest responsibly in Puerto Rico. But the mission behind Seguimos Aquí is bigger than real estate. I wrote this book because many children grow up without being introduced to homeownership, mortgages, saving, investing, or generational wealth.

I wanted to create the type of book that could plant that seed early.

Seguimos Aquí was inspired by my children, Jariel and Roselyn, and dedicated to every child who needs to know that their background does not determine their future.
